You may already have a personal Microsoft account logged in. Its ok - you can switch between your personal and PEACH accounts in Microsoft Applications.
Log in with your PEACH Microsoft Account:
president@peachva.org
vp@peachva.org
secretary@peachva.org
treasurer@peachva.org
newsletter@peachva.org
You will need your PEACH Microsoft password. If you need tech help, contact webmaster@peachva.org by email.
If you need help resetting this password, (or transferring the account to you at the beginning of the year if you are new on the PEACH Board), please contact webmaster@peachva.org for help.
You may be asked for a MFA/2FA (MultiFactor or 2nd Factor) code that is sent by your Code-Generating Device (Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, or similar), OR is sent to your PEACH email address or mobile number.
If you have trouble with this step, especially if you are new to the Board, we may need to re-assign the account to you. Contact webmaster@peachva.org and be sure to include your mobile number and your preferred callback number so we can get the account transferred. You will need to receive a text message while on the call.
The Chat area gives us the to send instant messages to each other via the Teams App, but they are private to PEACH.
This is the main PEACH "Team" area.
Within the PEACH Team, there are sub-channels for discussion and files. Where we work most of the time, and all of our files located, is in the "PEACH Board" Channel.
Now you are in the Board Members Channel. Click "Files" at the top to see our folders.
Now you can see our folders.
To go back a level in our folders, there is a "breadcrumb menu" at the top. You can go back to the main files area of the Board Members Channel by clicking its name.
I'll demonstrate opening a word document from the Board Packet.
Navigate to the appropriate sub-folder
Open any document or excel sheet by clicking it.
For most documents except the Newsletter, you can edit the document on-screen without Word or other office programs installed.
The Newsletter and documents with complex formatting will need to be opened in the full desktop application, which I will show you how to do on the next step.
Behind this button is the option to open the file in the full application.
The document should be open in your full desktop application.
